Our Story

Michael Vogt grew up in Missouri in a family where card games were a regular part of life. His wife, Vicki, from Michigan, shared the same tradition—both families loved gathering around the table to play cards.

One summer while visiting Michigan, Vicki’s mother introduced Michael to a card game they called “Golf.” While fun, Michael noticed something missing: the game didn’t truly capture the strategy and scoring of real golf.

That sparked an idea.

Michael designed his own golf card game in 1998—one that reflected the strategy and scoring of the sport itself.

In 2004, Michael had the opportunity to meet Arnold Palmer at Bellerive Country Club during the Senior Open and show him the game on the practice tee.

The meeting eventually led to a licensing agreement finalized at Arnold Palmer’s home course in Latrobe Country Club.

Today, Michael continues sharing the game with golfers, card players, and families who enjoy bringing a little bit of the golf course to the card table.
